WINDSOR, VT
Frank W. "Sam" Roberts, 48, a longtime resident of Windsor, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, May 11, at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital Emergency Department in Windsor.
He was born May 8, 1963 in Windsor the son of Frank E. and Marion (Ladue) Roberts. He received his schooling in Windsor and attended Windsor High School. Sam enjoyed music and had worked as a DJ and offered karaoke to several area businesses and for private parties. He also owned and operated a hot dog vending business in Windsor. He enjoyed canoeing, snowmobiling and four wheeling. He especially enjoyed spending time at his family get togethers.
Survivors include, one son, Corey J. Roberts of Windsor, his parents, Frank and Marion Roberts of Cornish, NH, four sisters, Vicki Theetge and her husband, David of Windsor, Doreen Monteith and her husband, Dana of Windsor, Lori Cantara of Londonderry, VT and Sandi Reynolds, and her husband, Mike of Cornish, NH, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life and a gathering for family and friends will be held Saturday, May 21 at 1:00 PM at the home of his parents located at 205 Root Hill Road in Cornish.
