Cornish, New Hampshire, Frank E. Roberts, 75, died early Friday morning, January 31, 2014 at the Elmwood Center in Claremont, NH. He was born February 5, 1938 in Woodstock, VT the son of Nelson and Marjorie (Putney) Roberts. Frank grew up in South Reading, VT and attended Windsor High School. He worked for a short time at Pippin Industries and Cone Blanchard Machine Tool Company in Windsor, VT. While working at Cones, he also trained under Phil Waters as a mason. He worked as a mason his whole life. Most of his career Frank worked for other local contractors but also for himself.
He married Marion Ladue August 9, 1958 in Windsor, VT where they made their home until 1981 when they built a log cabin in Cornish, NH. He was a very active and life member of the Elks Lodge in Windsor, VT and the Sons of American Legion also in Windsor, VT. As a young man Frank loved to ride motorcycles.
Later in life he enjoyed travelling with his wife around the country and to Hawaii.
He was predeceased by a son Frank Roberts who died in 2011 and a brother, Kenneth Roberts. Frank is survived by his wife, Marion of Cornish, NH, four daughters, Vicki Theetge, Doreen Monteith, Lori Cantara, Sandi Reynolds all of Windsor, VT, twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four brothers, Richard Roberts of Claremont, NH, Edwin Roberts of Windsor, VT, George Roberts of Brownsville, VT, Leslie Roberts of Springfield, VT, two sisters, Ruth Silvester of Windsor, VT and Kathy Harris of Sanford, FL also many nieces and nephews.
