WINDSOR, VT
Frank E. Ellis, 67, a longtime resident of Windsor, passed away Friday afternoon, October 29, at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor.
He was born February 14, 1943 in Windsor the son of Wesley J. and Ruth (Conley) Ellis. He received his schooling in Windsor and attended Windsor High School. He married Margaret Becker in Windsor on April 24, 1976. They resided in Windsor all their married lives until moving to White River Jct. in July of 2010. He was employed at the former Cone Blanchard Machine Tool Company in Windsor for ten years, at Windsor Mineral Talc Plant in Reading for ten years, Bremco Inc. in Claremont for twelve years, and most recently at Cable and Harness at the former Goodyear Plant in Windsor until the company moved to Randolph where he worked until his retirement in 2009. He was a member of the American Legion Post #25 in Windsor.
Frank enjoyed playing pool and poker with his family and many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, one son, Eric J. Ellis in 2006, one brother, Wesley G. Ellis and one sister, Audrey Adams.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret J. Ellis of White River Jct., one son, Wade E. Ellis of White River Jct., one sister, Andrea Becker of Windsor, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor on Monday evening, November 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 PM at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor with the Rev. Ken White, Pastor of the Rachel S. Harlow United Methodist Church, officiating. Committal services will follow in the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor.
