Wilder, VT – Francis M. Beaudry, 87, died Sunday October 18, 2015 at Brookside Nursing Home in White River Jct., VT.
He was born October 3, 1928 in Springfield, MA a son of Peter and Gertrude (Byrnes) Beaudry. Francis grew up in Chicopee, MA before serving in the US Navy during World War II. After returning from the war, Francis attended Boston University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. He was married to Sandra Paquette in 1957 and they lived in Saxton's River, VT for many years. Francis was dedicated to his career as a Certified Nurse Anestheist first at Rockingham Hospital and later at Springfield Hospital retiring at the age of 72. In his retirement Francis lived in South Carolina for a time and then in San Diego, CA before returning to Vermont to be nearer to his Daughter, Lu in Wilder.
Mr. Beaudry was predeaced by his wife, Sandra, a daughter Alisa Beaudry and a sister Teri Metzger.
He is survived by his daughter Lu Beaudry and her partner Todd Winslow of Wilder.
A private committal service will be held in the Saxton's River Cemetery.
