White River Junction, VT- Frances J. Prior, 65, died Thursday July 24, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born March 10, 1949 in Rutland, VT a daughter of William and Dorothy (Severance) Prior. She grew up in White River Junction and attended the Hartford Schools. She worked for many years in housekeeping at the Brookside Nursing Home before going to Alice Peck Day, until she could no longer work due to her illness.
She loved to Shop, and playing the lotto, but she took her most pride in spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Chris Prior of Royalton, VT; a daughter, Charlene Prior of Albuquerque, NM; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; father William Prior of Windsor, VT; mother Dorothy Prior of White River Junction; brothers Gary Prior of Concord, NH, William Prior of Lebanon, NH; and Sisters, Erlene Fogg, Sandra Henry both of Lebanon, Donna Burnham of Plainfield, NH, Sherry Prior of Windsor, VT and Lorraine Prior of White River Junction.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, July 30 from 6-8PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction immediately followed by funeral services at 8PM.
