Frances M. Nolan, 84, a former longtime resident of Ascutney, and widow of Harold J. Nolan, passed away Wednesday morning, September 5 at the Van Dyk Manor Nursing Home in Montclair, NJ. She was an early childhood educator with the Department of Education in New York, initiating many advances in statewide school programs.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of her family at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor. Interment will follow in the Ascutneyville Cemetery in Ascutney.
