Obituary

Lebanon, NH - Floyd W. Fox, 70, died November 1, 2022, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

He was born November 30, 1951, in Windsor, VT a son of Reginald and Violet (Tulip) Fox. Floyd attended Hartford High School, where he took the autobody class. While still in high school, he started his career in autobody at the Toyota dealership in White River Jct. After graduating with the class of 1970, Foxy served in the US Army for two years. Following his honorable discharge from the military, he moved to California for a time, and then to Orlando, FL where he started his own autobody shop. He lived in Florida for over 20 years before returning home in the early 90s and has lived in the Upper Valley since.

No matter where he was living, Foxy was a Vermonter. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a talented carpenter. He loved riding his Harley and enjoyed music, especially old-time rock and roll, and played the guitar in a band while in his youth.

He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Carol Lee Hamner Fox and leaves his daughter, Rosemary Lee Fox of South Royalton; sisters, Lawrencetene Donnelly of Claremont, and Sandra Roberts of Cornish; grandchildren, Riley Fox, Dalton Muzzey-Fox and Aydreana Ruppel.

A graveside service will be held in the Hartland Village Cemetery at 2PM on Sunday, November 13 th with a reception to follow in the church hall next door.
