WINDSOR, VT
Florence W. Penn, 83, a longtime resident of Windsor passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 26, at her home in Windsor surrounded by her family.
She was born July 25, 1927 in Hanover Center, New Hampshire the daughter of Ray W. and Gertrude E. (Clough) Woodward. She received her schooling in Windsor and Lebanon. She married Fred E. Penn in Pompanoosuc, NH on July 23, 1945. They resided all their married lives in Lebanon and Windsor.
Mrs. Penn enjoyed flower gardening and listening to country music. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mr. Penn passed away July 1, 2006. She was also predeceased by one daughter, Julia Penn, and one daughter-in-law, Betty Penn, one brother, Robert Woodward, and three sisters, Pauline DeCatou, Barbara Von Baltzer and Virginia Nostrant.
Survivors include, one daughter, Pamela Ellis and her husband, Jerry of Windsor, four sons, Fred Penn, Jr. and his wife, Della, Ray Penn and his wife, Linda, Peter Penn and his wife, Kathy and Robert Penn, all of Windsor, one brother, Richard Woodward of White River Jct., VT, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
At Mrs. Penn's request, a graveside service will be held at the convenience of her family in the family lot in the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor.
