Obituary
White River Junction, VT – Flora L. Roy, 88, died Sunday October 16th at Brookside Nursing Home in White River Junction.
She was born August 5, 1923 in Beecher Falls, Vermont a daughter of Eloi André and Melanie (Johnson) Roy. After graduating from Stephens High School in Rumford, ME she spent her career working for the Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford, CT. Since retiring she has resided in White River Junction to be nearer to her sister Estelle St. Jacques.
In addition to her sister Estelle of White River Junction she leaves a brother Leonard A. Roy of Rumford, ME; three nephews, three nieces, a grandnephew, four grandnieces and two great grandnephews. She was predeceased by a brother J. Edward Roy late of Lady Lake, FL.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday October 19th at 10AM at St. Anthony's Church in White River Junction. Burial will be in the St. John's Cemetery in Rumford, ME at a later date.
An expression of Sympathy can be shared with contributions to St. Anthony's Building Repairs, 15 Church Street, White River Jct., VT 05001.
