White River Junction, VT- Faye Potwin, 75, died Monday, November 18, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.

Faye was born August 9, 1944 in Morrisville, VT  a daughter of Ora and Jeannette (Cadorette) Moodie. She attended Hartford High School and had to leave early to assist raising her siblings during and following her mothers death.  She worked at the Robert F. Lewis Leather Bindery in Woodstock, VT.   She later went to work for Hypertherm in Lebanon, NH retiring in 2007 due to her health. Faye was proud of the fact that at the age of 50 she completed her GED in 1994.

Faye loved volunteering at Bayada Hospice, White River School, Everybody Wins Reading Mentor Program, Bugbee Sr. Center,  and American Red Cross at blood drives.   Faye was an avid bingo player and absolutely loved people especially her family.

She is predeceased by a son Nelson Potwin and three brothers John Moodie, Gary Moodie and Ronald Moodie. Faye is survived by a daughter Jeanette Leavitt, her husband Steven, two granddaughters that where the light of her life, Bailey and Courtney Leavitt, five sisters, Geraldine Churchill of Brooksville, FL, Beverly Patten of Newport, NH, Marie Fadden of Lebanon, Sandra Moodie of Newport, and Debbie Moodie of Enfield, NH, a brother Bruce Moodie of Lebanon, NH, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 22, from 5-7pm at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction. A celebration of her life  will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Dartmouth College Highway, Lebanon, NH on Saturday at 10:00am.
