Windsor, VT - Fay M. O'Brien Johnson, 84, died Thursday November 25, 2010 at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, VT.
Mrs. Johnson was born June 8, 1926 in East Milton, MA the daughter of Dwight and Dorothy (Kent) McCormick. She attended school in Milton, MA. She was married to William O'Brien in 1941. She stayed at home to raise their family. During this time she earned her GED as well as a Bachelor's Degree from Keene State College. After William's death in 1981 she met Alan Johnson they were married in 1983
She enjoyed gardening, weaving, and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband Alan Johnson of Windsor; three sons, William O'Brien of Alstead, NH, Philip O'Brien of Gilmanton, NH, and John James O'Brien of Winchester, NH; two daughters, Bonny Galland of Chatham, NH and Kathy O'Brien of Westmoreland, NH; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; a brother Brad McCormick of Maine and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by a son Kent O'Brien.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 30th at 1pm at the Gline Cemetery in Westmoreland, NH.
