Windsor, VT - Evelyn "Muff" Mary Pollard, 93, passed away Friday January 7th at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor.
She was born September 27, 1917 in Bellows Falls a daughter of Roy and Ivy (Hutt) Nuttall. She graduated from Windsor High School in 1936 and married Kenworth Coburn Pollard July 9, 1937. She has been a resident of Windsor for over 66 years and worked at Fay's Shoe Store and Cone-Blanchard Machine Company.
She was a Class A Women's Golf Champion three years in a row. She enjoyed her family, hobbies, crafts, flowers, birds, and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her husband Kenworth Pollard, a daughter Lyn Paul and son-in-law John Paul of Wilder, a grandson Les Wardwell, his wife Laura and three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Connor, and Sam all of Arizona as well as nieces and nephew.
There will be no calling hours or services, burial will be at the convenience of the family.
The family wishes to thank all the special team of doctors, nurses and case workers that took such wonderful care of her as well as the Counsel on Aging and the VNA.
