White River Junction, VT -Evelyn Pearl Donley, 95, died August 1, 2019, at Lebanon Genesis in Lebanon, NH.  Evelyn was born June 11,1924 in Hartford, Vermont a daughter of Horace and Edith (Maynard) Punt.  She graduated from Hartford High School at the age of 16.  Evelyn was a dedicated mother, she gave her time to community services such as the local food bank, and cooking for the Norwich Day Care Center.  She also volunteered as an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, South Royalton Ward. Her faith was the central part of her life along with her family. She enjoyed cooking, painting, studying the scriptures, and making other people happy.

Evelyn is predeceased by a daughter Doreen Wilson and eight siblings.  She is survived by two sons, Daniel Donley White River Junction and David Donley of Saint Johnsbury; a daughter Debra Donley of White River Junction; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

A visiting hour will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction from 9-10am followed immediately at 10am by a funeral service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Christian Street Cemetery in Wilder, Vermont.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hartford Food Bank.
