Obituary
White River Junction, VT – Eunice H. Livingston, 86, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Hanover Terrace in Hanover, NH.
Eunice was born November 30, 1924, in Hanover, NH the daughter of Elbridge W. and Mary (Judd) Linton. She graduated from Hartford High School class of 1941. She furthered her education at the Bay Path Institute in Springfield, MA. She went on to work as a secretary at the Strafford Copper Mines in Strafford, VT where she meet her husband Allen D. Livingston. On June 2, 1946 they were married in Sharon, VT. They later moved to White River Junction and she went to work for Beefeater Restaurant in Hanover for a time, Greydon Freeman Office Supply, the Cross Company and Farm Credit all in White River Junction, VT. Allen died September 20, 1996.
Eunice had been a longtime parishioner of the White River Junction United Methodist Church and a founding member and twenty five year volunteer at the Second Hand Rose Thrift Shop. She was a charter member of both the Junction Trotters in White River Junction and the Mid State Sam's Chapter's of the Good Sam Club; and a former member of both the Strafford and Norwich Granges. Eunice enjoyed Crafts like crocheting, quilting and knitting were she excelled at making blankets and afghans; she was also an avid collector, enjoyed books and word searches, but most of all camping with her family.
Eunice is survived by three daughters, Lois and Ted Frazer of Etna, NH, Linda and Tom Kahl of Winslow, ME, and Lana Livingston of White River Junction; a sister Janet and Chris Armen of Lebanon, NH; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews, and a close family friend, Deborah McManus.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10AM at the Hartford Cemetery in White River Junction, VT. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction, VT has been entrusted with arrangements.
