Windsor, VT- Esmond Freeland Follensbee, 75, died Monday, January 7, 2019 at Cedar Hill Healthcare in Windsor .
Esmond was born October 6, 1943 in Lebanon, NH the son of Bernard and Doris (Libby) Follensbee. He grew up in Lebanon, NH and joined the army after high school. He served honorably and returned to the Upper Valley. Esmond worked at the Baltic Woolen Mill in Enfield, NH for a time before going to the P&C Warehouse in White River Junction, until his retirement.
Esmond was a talented musician that passed his knowledge on to his children and grandchildren. He played guitar and sang in a band until his children were born. He also enjoyed collecting coins and movies.
He is predeceased by his wife, Ingrid Rita (Schultze) Follensbee; father Bernard Follensbee; mother Doris Craig; and brother Roland Follensbee. Survivors include two sons, Heinz-John Medeiros of MA and Roland Follensbee of Springfield, NH; two daughters Lisa Wheeler of Concord, NH and Heidi Knowles of White River Junction; four brothers Peter Craig, Kelvin Craig both of Blairsville, GA, Calvin Follensbee and Kenny Follensbee; two sisters, Hazel Goud and Mary; Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private burial service next to his wife in Easton, NH will take place a later date. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction assisted with arrangements..
