IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eric Dickerson
Dow
April 25, 1991 – September 19, 2025
West Hartford, Vt –Eric Dickerson Dow - With profound sadness, we announce the death of Eric Dickerson Dow, 34. Eric was killed in a motorcycle accident on September 19, 2025, while on the Quechee-West Harford Road.
Eric was born April 25, 1991, in Hanover, NH, the son of William W. Dow and Kathryn (Dickerson) Dow and the younger brother to Brian. He graduated from Hartford High School in 2009. From an early age, Eric was a talented skier who loved finding his way down a mountain. He looked forward to fresh powder and "first tracks" at Killington and Sunapee with his friends. He spent quite a bit of time in the board parks with his brother perfecting his freestyle and landings. His passion for skiing carried over to his enjoyment of riding dirt bikes and motorcycles—enjoying the freedom and thrill that they offered him.
Eric had worked locally at Marshland Farm and Groundskeepers. He worked for Miller Auto Group in Lebanon before joining Springfield Auto Group, later transferring to South Burlington Mazda when he moved to Burlington. He spent many years in Burlington and through both work and life made what turned out to be a large group of life-long friends. He also carried the pain of losing too many friends and some family along the way. He had most recently worked with his father at Wilder Construction.
Eric is survived by his parents and his brother, Brian, and Brian's son, Cameron Jay. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones. He is also survived by his special cats, Black Cat and Hobbs. His grandparents had predeceased him.
