Hartland, Vermont – Emilee Rene Ashline, 29, lost the battle against her struggle with opiate addiction on Thursday, January 6, 2022. A loving and generous spirit, she lives on through organ donation. Emilee always did her best and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She and her dad enjoyed deer hunting and snowmobiling; and Emilee adored animals and even updated her pets' own social media accounts regularly! She loved to read anything and everything, expanding her world and learning new things along the way.

She is survived by her mother, Shari A. Taft of Windsor; her father and stepmother, Rene L. and Trina Ashline; her sister, Amanda Pearsons and husband Zachary of Perkinsville; her niece and nephew, Claire and Cole Pearsons; her dog, Tyson; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Boyle and her cat, Dixie Lou.

A celebration of life will be held later and memorial donations are appreciated to the Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society.
