White River Junction, VT – Ellen Lee Roberts, 66, of White River Junction, VT died on Saturday, July 2, 2022, in Lebanon, NH.

Ellen was born on October 25, 1955, to Earl and Nona (York) Pyer in Lebanon, NH and spent most of her life in the Upper Valley. Throughout her life, she selflessly gave of herself in love and support for her family and community. She enjoyed providing in-home childcare when her children were young. Later she embarked on a long career with the White River Junction Post Office before retiring last year. She was a devoted and beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who cherished time spent in her family's company. They spent many sunny days at the Hartland Dam, fun days at the Rutland Fair, and crisp fall days apple picking.

She is survived by four children, Lori Willoughby and husband, Bryan of North Carolina, April Roberts of White River Junction, Kevin Roberts and fiancée, Brittany Lewis of Randolph, VT, and Ryan Crowley and fiancée, Lauren Fountaine of Georgia; three siblings, Tim Pyer and husband, Rich Henderson of White River Junction, Thomas Pyer and wife, Judy of Enfield, NH, and Amy Pyer and husband, Jeff Emerson of Bradford, VT; eight grandchildren Dylan, Jakob, Camden, Gracie, Henry, Maddox, Nolan, and Morgan; four great grandchildren; other relatives and many wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Linda Leahy and also by her infant daughter, Heidi.
