WINDSOR, VT
Elizabeth A. Richardson, 95, a former longtime resident of Windsor, passed away Tuesday morning, May 12 at the Cedar Hill Continuing Healthcare Center in Windsor.
She was born March 1, 1920 in Hartland, VT the daughter of Fred J. and Alice (Bigelow) Spaulding. She received her schooling in Hartland and married Frederick B. Richardson in Windsor on June 9, 1939. Mrs. Richardson was employed at the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Windsor for thirty two years until her retirement in 1978. She and her husband moved to Plainfield, NH in 1984.
Mr. Richardson passed away on December 13, 1991. She was also predeceased by one son, Duane F. Richardson in 2010, and by two brothers, Fred Spaulding, Jr. and Gordon Spaulding, and by two sisters, Evelyn Morse and Mildred Merrill.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara J. Dube and her husband, Eugene of Plainfield, and one son, Conrad L. Richardson and his wife, Linda of Windsor, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
At Mrs. Richardson's request a graveside service will be held Friday, May 15 at 2:00 PM in the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor. The Rev. Janice Chilek will officiate.
