Brownsville, VT - Eleanor Spalding Robinson, age 91, died May 10, 2025, in White River Junction.

She was born on September 12, 1933, in New London, New Hampshire, the second child of Tracey and Emma (Schulz) Spalding.

She received her schooling in Plainfield, New Hampshire, Windsor High School in Windsor, Vermont, and Keene Teachers College in Keene, New Hampshire. She married Robert Robinson in Plainfield, New Hampshire in July 1958. Eleanor spent the majority of her teaching career in the Brownsville, Vermont school system as teacher and principal. Ellie and Bob spent many years wintering in Sebastian, Florida.

She was predeceased by her parents, a sister Beatrice Dorsey, and her husband, who died in 2007. Eleanor is survived by a sister, Joan Spalding Roeber, several nephews and a niece.

Burial will take place in the Plain Cemetery in Plainfield, NH on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 11AM. Condolences may be expressed in an online guestbook found at www.knightfuneralhomes.com.
