St. Mary College in Hooksett, NH where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She received her nurse's training at Mary Hitchock Memorial Hospital in Hanover, NH where she continued on as an Orthopedic O.R. nurse, retiring from the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after over forty years of service. In her retirement she continued to serve the patients of the medical center by volunteering in the Same Day Surgery Department as well as at David's House. She also volunteered with the Hartford Garden Club. Nora has lived with her sister Theresa Baribeau in White River Jct., for more than 20 years. They have enjoyed the last seven years spending their winters on Melbourne Beach, FL watching the ocean, enjoying a glass of wine and dining at her favorite restaurant Ozzie's Crabhouse.

Nora enjoyed good times with her friends and family, particularly cooking and hosting cocktail parties as well as travelling throughout the United States and abroad. She also enjoyed hiking and completed the AMC hut system in the White Mountain Presidential Range. She was an excellent skier and with her best friend Betty McArthur taught her niece and nephews along with her sister Theresa at age 40 how to ski with style and finesse. Nora was an avid New England sports fan, especially the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. She loved flowers and making floral arrangements for her family. She took water color painting classes by Larry Howard in Lebanon, NH

She will be remembered for her generous and compassionate nature. She received great pleasure giving her love, time and resources to family, friends and many charities, never looking for recognition for doing so. She lived a full life and will be missed by many.
