Wilder, VT- Edward L. "Sonny" Wyatt, 81, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Alice Peck Day Hospital in Lebanon, NH, surrounded by his family.
He was born June 13, 1933 in Lebanon, NH the son of Francis and Dorothy (Valliant) Wyatt. He attended Hartford High School before going to work as a truck driver. He worked for Manning Oil, Vermont Log Homes and retired from Decato Brothers in the early 1980's. He was married to the love of his life, Constance Hall on November 4, 1955 in Hartford, VT.
Sonny was a hard working man. In his free time, he was an avid reader, and enjoyed being outdoors hunting, snowmobiling, or he could be found at the stock car races (he was a big fan of Nascar). Sonny enjoyed taking his family on Sunday drives where they would explore the back roads of New England and take in all the sites. He was fond of animals most of all his grand-dog Bear.

He is predeceased by his infant sister, Louise Wyatt, brother Forrest Wyatt and sister, Evelyn "Tinker" Magne.
He is survived by his beloved wife, daughter, Cindy LaFlam of Claremont, NH, twin sons, Douglas and Donald Wyatt of White River Jct., VT, daughter, Wanda Bayer and her husband Mark of Essex, VT, Doreen Wyatt and her fiancé William "Harvey" Aldrich of Hartford, VT; grandchildren Sean, Sarah, Francis, Katharine, Olivia, Cody and Several Great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 23rd at 1:30 pm at the West Lebanon Cemetery in West Lebanon, NH. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction assisted with arrangements. Condolences to Sonny's family may be expressed in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhomes.com.
