Edward C. Kimball, 78, died Sunday, April 24, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. He's the son of James C. Durkee of Sharon, VT and Margaret Rattie (Kimball) of Lebanon, NH.

He leaves behind his wife, Ida Kimball (Raymond) of White River Jct., VT and their children, Diana Kimball-Anderson and husband Lance of Thetford, VT, Tomas E.C. Kimball and Trista of White River Jct., VT and a daughter, Rhonda from a previous marriage. Grandchildren: Rhett, William, Rhys and Noah Anderson of Thetford, VT and Makayla and Autumn Kimball of White River Jct., VT. He was the eldest of thirteen siblings: Marian Wimett, Nancy Maxham, Gary Durkee, Dana Durkee, Derrick Durkee, Mona Symanck, Sandra Clark, Deborah Clark, James Durkee, David Durkee, Janice Moses, and was predeceased by Greg Durkee and Barbara Rodgers. He had many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 5-7PM at Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction. A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 1PM in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Sharon, VT. Condolences may be expressed in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhomes.com .
