Edna B. Stetson, 89, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at home in West Hartford after a long illness.
She was born October 24, 1923 in Lyman, NH the daughter of Harry C. and Harriet A. (Clough) Blake. Edna attended high school in Lisbon and graduated from Littleton High School. In 1952 she was married to Lester Hood. They moved to Woodstock, VT for a time then West Hartford, where she has spent the rest of her life. Lester died in 1991 and she was married to Charles Stetson in 2009.
Edna was very talented with her hands as a seamstress and would often enjoy taking in sewing from others. She had a passion for her flower garden and could spend hours working on it. But most of all she loved her cat Lucy.
She is predeceased by a brother Robert A. Blake and a sister Ila Boutin.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Stetson of West Hartford, and a sister, Catherine Seymczyk of Salem, OH
