Obituary

White River Junction, VT Earle W. Hill, 66, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at his home.

Earle was born April 10, 1951 in Lebanon, NH the of James and Margaret (Pitkin) Hill. He attended West Lebanon High School and graduated from Hanover High School Class of 1969. He immediately entered the Army and served his country as an Air Borne Ranger during the Vietnam War, doing two tours in country before returning home. He earned a Bachelor's Degree and later a Masters in Business from Colby Sawyer College. While he was in school he started to work for Pike Industries as an equipment operator. He later worked as a Barman at the Anchorage at Sunapee Harbor. Earle was married to the love of is life Bonnie-Jo Bingham July 2, 1988 in Wilder, VT.

Earle was an avid hunter and fisherman, he was passionate about NASCAR, and enjoyed word search and puzzles, He was a talented gardener and would can his bounty for the winter. He loved his dogs Daisy and Coco.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie Hill of White River Junction, a son Joseph Hill of Anderson, SC; two daughters Katie Corkland of Enfield, NH and Natasha Bobard of Claremont, NH; a brother Patrick Hill of Corpus Christie, TX; a sister Janet Nitchman of Hutto, TX; several grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a nephew Gregory Durkee II of Newport, NH; a niece April Durkee of Bristol, NH and numerous great nieces & nephews.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in The Vermont Veterans Cemetery in Randolph Center, VT. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction, VT.
