White River Jct., VT – Earl Farnham, 65 died Wednesday, March 30, at his home on Dewitt Drive in White River Jct., VT. He was born April 18, 1950 in Morrisville, VT the son of Harold and Sarah (Mattice) Farnham.
Earl attended school in Morrisville, VT and at a very early age left school to work on at the farm. He continued to work on dairy farms for most of his life. The longest time was spent in Derby Line, VT. His first marriage was to Loretta Shatney following their divorce he had a long relationship with Linda (Smith) Stone. They were together for over twelve years and had a daughter together. Earl moved White River Jct., VT in the mid 1990's. Earl did some automotive mechanic work part time for Dan Hughes. He was married to Dawn Thorstenson in 1997. Dawn died in 2015.
Earl loved to build model cars and do paint by numbers. He also enjoyed listening to country music especially Elvis and Johnny Cash. But most of all he enjoyed spending countless hours outside enjoying nature with his very best friend, Jeffrey Easton.
He is survived by a daughter, Carmen Farnham of White
River Jct., VT., son, Ryan Scott Farnham of Lebanon, NH, step daughter, Lisa Emery of Wilder, VT, and Lena Druge, two grandchildren, Alex Martin and Chantelle Farnham two brothers, Fred Farnham of Lebanon, ME, Edward Farnham of SC, several nieces and nephews, his best friend, Jeffrey Easton of White River Jct., VT.
Calling hours will be held Friday evening, April 8, from 6-7PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., VT.
A private burial service will be held a later date in the East Randolph Cemetery in East Randolph, VT.
