Enfield, NH - Douglas B. Tucker, 42, died Monday, December 23, 2019 at his home in Enfield, NH following a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Doug was born May 3, 1977 in Orange City, IA a son of David E. and Margaret (Ahlers) Tucker. He grew up in Enfield and graduated from Mascoma High School Class of  1995. Doug attended the University of New Hampshire for a short time before going to work at Hypertherm in Lebanon, NH. In 1997 he started his career with the United States Postal Service at the Hub in White River Junction, VT where he was currently still working. Doug spent his summers as a child at his grandparents farm in Iowa, they would enjoy cook outs, tubing trips and other fun activities. This was his home away from home where he developed a close and almost brotherly connection with his cousin Michael. Doug continued to visit every year until the tragic death of Michael.

Doug was a solitary individual and loved to spend time gaming, reading for hours on end, and was a collector of movies with an extensive collection.

Doug is survived by his mother Margaret M. Tucker of Enfield, a sister Holly L. Tucker of Remsen, IA and his father David Tucker of Springfield, NH.
