Obituary

HARTLAND, VT- Dorothy "Dot" Miller Farnsworth, 70, of Hartland, VT and Tavares, FL died at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center on Friday, July 8.

She was born June 27, 1941, in Windsor, VT, the daughter of Oliver "Chick" Miller and Olive (Bayliss) Miller. She grew up and received her schooling in Windsor, graduating from Windsor High School in 1959. Dot continued her education at the University of Maine and the University of Miami. She was a longtime resident of Time L Tell Farm, where she ran the cattle farm with her husband. Several years ago she began splitting time between Tavares, FL and Hartland, VT.

Dot loved her farm animals and her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and sharing experiences with them. Everyone who knew Dot knew of her strength of character and determination. She touched the lives of all who she came in contact with and will be deeply missed.

She is predeceased by her father Oliver "Chick" Miller

Dot leaves behind her mother Olive Miller of Windsor, her husband Ralph A Farnsworth of Hartland, VT, two sons, Lee McGranaghan and his wife Vicky of Dalzell, SC and David McGranaghan and his wife Sue of Milton, VT, a step son, Ralph A Farnsworth III of Claremont, NH, a step daughter, Lee Fotion and her husband Ray of Windsor, VT, two brothers, Donald Miller of Windsor, VT and Douglas E. Miller of Cornish, NH, three sisters, Gail Avent of New Market, Tennessee, Alanna Farnsworth of Windsor, VT and Jan Wright of Weathersfield Bow, VT and ten grandchildren

A celebration of her life will be held Sunday July 10 at 4:30PM at the Time L Tell Farm in Windsor.
