Dorothy LeBlanc, 90, died Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative Care in Lebanon, NH.

She was born June 9, 1934, in Keene, NH, a daughter of Clarence and Nellie (Newstead) Myers. Dorothy grew up in Keene, working in the area woolen mills with her mother. She was married to Ronald LeBlanc in Keene on November 20, 1954. They began a family and moved often, living wherever Ronald was stationed with United States Air Force. Following his retirement from the military the family settled in the Upper Valley, where the couple lived out the rest of their lives. After her children were old enough Dorothy worked outside of the home as a cook at the White River Elementary School and a chambermaid at the Swiss Chalet in White River Jct. Ronald died in 1998, and Dorothy has lived in Enfield for the past several years.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Ronald; a son Jeffrey LeBlanc; daughter Cindy Martin; son-in-law William Malone and sister Jeannie Bleau.

She leaves her four sons, Timothy LeBlanc (Rose) of West Fairlee, VT, Thomas LeBlanc (Brenda) of North Pomfret, VT, David LeBlanc (Lisa) of Sullivan, NH and Daniel LeBlanc (Breanne) of Seattle, WA; a daughter, Melissa Malone of Canaan, NH; a daughter-in-law, Heather LeBlanc of Hartford, VT; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., VT on Wednesday, November 20th from 10-11AM with a funeral service at 11AM. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
