Doris Morrill Dubie died in the evening of February 12th after a brief illness at Lebanon Center Genesis.
She was born in Barre, Vermont on October 19, 1919. She was the wife of Norman E. Dubie, Sr. She is survived by her son Norman Dubie, Jr. The Dubies had another son, Robert Carr Dubie who passed before them in November of 1991, and a daughter, Rebekah Belanger, who passed in mid-summer of 2017.
Doris Dubie was a graduate of Spalding High School in Barre, Vermont. Mrs. Dubie was a registered nurse with graduate school experience. She served in routine nursing and supervisory positions for a period of thirty years in such hospitals as The Mary Fletcher (Burlington, Vermont), The Sacred Heart (Manchester, New Hampshire), and Lawrence General (Lawrence, Massachusetts). She served as Director of Nursing at the regional hospital in Lancaster, New Hampshire, as well as in Bath, Maine.
She also functioned importantly as a minister's wife and extraordinary church member in numerous parishes charged to her husband, Reverend Norman E. Dubie, Sr., including the Congregational Church at Phippsburg, Maine; the First Congregational Church at Lancaster, New Hampshire; the South Main Street Congregational Church in Manchester, New Hampshire, the West Andover Congregational Church in Andover, Massachusetts, and the First Congregational Church in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
A private committal service will take place in the early spring of this year.
Doris Dubie was an adored wife and mother.
