White River Junction, VT- Donna J. Sausville, 76, died Saturday, May 30, 2020 at her home in White River Junction, following a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Donna was born July 7, 1943 in Oconomowoc, WI, a daughter of James and Lorena (Frank) Ferris. She graduated from Waukesha High School, class of 1961, she went on to attended the Waukesha Technical College where she studied cosmetology. Donna was married to John Sausville on October 30, 1965 in Charlestown, SC. This is where they made their home while John was serving in the Navy, they later were moved to Mayport, FL when John received orders. Following John's discharge they made their home in Waukesha, WI until moving to Quechee, VT in 1990. They lived there for a time moving to Lyme for a short stint, finally settling in White River Junction in 1995.  Over the years she had worked at Anderson's Chiropractic as a receptionist and later at the SEVCA Thrift shop where her interpersonal skills were best put to use.

Donna was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, and a proud 4H Parent, she was a Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack 32 in Vernon, WI and a poll official for the Township of Mukwonago, WI. She loved to use social media to keep in touch with her family all over the country, and in the past few years it was a godsend for her to be able to stay in touch with even her local friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband John J. Sausville; a son James Sausville both of White River Junction; a daughter Nicole A. Freeman of Sacramento, CA; two grandchildren, Aniah and Mitchell, and a brother, David A. Ferris and his wife Kathee of WI.
