Windsor, VT - Donna L. Perham, 68, died after a long illness at Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, VT on Monday, October 26, 2020.

Donna was born October 13, 1952 in Chicago, IL to Lee and Christine (Boyd) Simmerman. She grew up in Minneapolis, MN where she attended school. On April 4, 1980 she married Ronald J. Perham in Minneapolis. They moved to Morganton, NC before settling in Cavendish, VT where she operated a hair salon out of her home, retiring in 2000. She moved to Morganton, NC for a bit, but then she returned to VT, making Windsor her home.

Donna loved camping, cards and dice games. She was feisty and full of spunk and had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed spending time with her close group of friends, but her greatest joy was her grandchildren.

Donna was predeceased by bother her parents, her brother Billy, and her husband, Ron who was killed in a motorcycle in 1996. She is survived by her 4 sons; Arthur C. Perham, Dominic Rosen Perham, Morganton, NH, Ronald A. "Tony" Perham, Hartland, VT, Eric W. Perham, Claremont, NH and her stepdaughter, Karen (Perham) Strout, Cornish Flat, NH as well as 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons, several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Windsor Ambulance crew, the staff at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and her Olde Windsor Village family.

There will be a celebration of life next summer for family and friends and will be announced. Knight Funeral home in Windsor assisted with arrangements.
