WINDSOR, VT
Donna Heath Creighton, 62, a longtime resident of Windsor passed away Friday evening, August 5, at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor.
She was born June 5, 1949 in Claremont, NH the daughter of Ralph W. and Mona (Martin) Heath. She received her schooling in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School in 1967. She married Jeffrey T. Creighton in Hartland. She was employed at the former W.T. Grant Department Store in West Lebanon, the William Tally House in White River Jct., the former Purity Supreme in West Lebanon and as a warehouse manager at Simon Pearce in Windsor. She was most recently employed as a personal caregiver at the Stoughton House in Windsor, leaving due to failing health.
Donna enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and flower gardening. She was fond of spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of forty six years, Jeffrey T. Creighton of Windsor, two sons, Brent R. Creighton of Claremont, and Thomas J. Creighton of Windsor, one daughter, Mona Linda Creighton of Windsor, three stepsons, Roy Dutter of Spencer, MA, Jeffrey Lyle of Port St. Lucie, FL and Paul D. Lyle of Woburn, MA, one sister, Linda R. Holloway of Hartford, VT, two brothers, John A. Heath of Philipsburg, MT, and Ralph W. Heath of Moosup, CT, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor on Wednesday evening, August 10, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 11, at 11:00 AM at the Rachel S. Harlow United Methodist Church in Windsor with Barbara Loyer, officiating. Committal services will follow in the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor.
