West Lebanon, NH – Donald R. Ouellette, 92, died Wednesday November 18, 2015 at his home in West Lebanon.
Don was born May 14, 1923 in Lyndonville, VT a son of Albert and Almosa (Morancy) Ouellette. He grew up in West Lebanon where he attended the West Lebanon High School. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1941 and served for twenty years, in both World War II and Korea, before being honorably discharged. After returning to West Lebanon he began his career as a refrigeration mechanic at the Cold Regions Research & Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) in Hanover, NH.
Don was predeceased by his parents and a brother Albert Ouellette and is survived by his nephews Gary Ouellette and his partner Shirley Terry, Dennis Ouellette and his wife Joanne, Michael Ouellette and his wife Linda, Richard Ouellette and his wife Chris; a niece Nicole Devanney as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Private committal services will be held in the West Lebanon Cemetery.
