Windsor, VT- Don Frederick Bigwood, 53, died Friday, October 4, 2024, at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, VT.

Don was born August 21, 1971, in Lynn, MA, a son of Augustus and Mary (McLean) Bigwood. Don completed a bachelor's degree in Mental Health and Human Services at the University of Maine, Augusta.  Don moved to Windsor, VT where he lived and helped raise his four children. He worked as a handyman and could frame, dry wall, and paint. He enjoyed working with his hands.

Don loved spending time with his kids, fishing, camping, and cheering his kids on at all their sporting events.

He is preceded in death by his father Augustus and mother Mary. He is survived by four children, Angelina, Kohen, Sutton, and Paxton Bigwood, all of Windsor.

A celebration of Don's life was held at 4pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Windsor Recreation Center. Knight Funeral Home in Windsor has been entrusted with arrangements.
