Wilder, Vermont


Diane Flint, 72, died peacefully surrounded by her family at the Mount Ascutney Health Care Hospice in Windsor, after a short illness.

Diane was born in Bronx NY, but her heart will always be in Vermont where she was a proud parent to her daughter Sarah and touched the lives of many children through her years as a dedicated teacher and special educator in the Hartford School District. She is survived by her daughter Sarah, of Wilder, and three sons: Steven Monsees of Nashua, NH, Peter Monsees of Albany, NY and Robert Monsees of Ellensburg,WA; her close friend Melissa Hecsh and her daughter Amelia; her two dogs Tucker and Tess and two cats Emily and Little Bear. She is predeceased by her oldest son John J. Monsees and her husband Richard Flint.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 6-8PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction.
