Quechee, VT – Dennis J. Mayotte, Jr., 37, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 5, 2023, in Springfield, VT. He was born on September 10, 1986, in Worcester, MA to Dennis J. Mayotte, Sr. and Dawn (Marchand) Mayotte.

Dennis was a loved husband, son, brother, nephew, and friend to many. He attended school in Worcester, MA and eventually relocated to the Upper Valley-- living in Hartford, Quechee, Windsor, and Springfield over the years. Dennis had a great sense of humor and a laugh that was contagious. He had a very big heart and loved his family. Sadly, like many young adults in the Upper Valley and across the country, Dennis fought a long and hard battle with addiction.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer (Jones) Mayotte of Quechee; father Dennis Mayotte of Quechee; mother Dawn Mason and husband Ollie of Worcester, MA; former step-mother Tricia Mayotte-Crawford of Quechee; four siblings Todd Mayotte and wife Laura of Worcester, Dan Mayotte and wife Nikita of Newport, NH, Keith Mayotte and wife Jessica of Worcester, and Keirstyn Miller and husband Greg of Charlotte, NC; uncles and aunts Donald and Tina Mayotte of Etna, NH, Steve Mayotte of Wilder, VT, and Dawn and Gary Daly of Worcester; as well as 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

Dennis was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Rosalie Mayotte (Besaw), as well as an uncle John Mayotte, both in 2017.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 1 until time of service at 2pm at Knight Funeral Home, White River Junction, VT.
