Deborah Jean Hooker

North Haverhill, NH - Deborah Jean Hooker, 67, died Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill, NH.

She was born in Lebanon, NH on April 24, 1959, a daughter of Larry Arthur and Roberta Arlene (Twiss) Smith. Deborah spent her early years in Norwich and Strafford before graduating from Hanover High School. She lived all of her life in the Upper Valley where she raised her children and worked various jobs. She was married to Thomas Hooker September 22, 1990, and together they loved spending time with their family, especially their grandchildren. Deborah enjoyed hosting friends and family and was an accomplished cook and baker that always put on a huge spread for guests. Whatever she did, she gave 100%, never making half-hearted attempts.

She was predeceased by her husband Thomas in January of 2024 as well as her brother, Victor Smith.

She leaves her children, Brandy Hollis (Brad) of Canaan, NH, Jeffrey Moulton (Laura) of Cohassett, MA, and Maria Thibeault (Jeff) of Orford, NH; grandchildren; Joe, Johnny, Tyler, Gaige, Karley, Parker, and Carter; brothers Timothy Smith of Newbury, VT, Jeffery Smith of Hartland, VT and Gregory Smith of Canaan, NH as well as several nieces and nephews.
