White River Jct., VT – Deanna A. Atkinson, 68, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at her home in White River Jct., VT. She was born October 27, 1948 in Peterbrough, NH the daughter of Robert D. and Priscilla (Russell) Atkinson. Deanna grew up in Greenfield, NH and graduated from Peterbrough high School. She went on to college in Manchester, NH where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. For the next seven years she worked for a Medical Practice in Manchester where she had a small apartment. She returned to Greenfield, NH to live with her parents and went to work as an accountant for the town of Peterbrough where she was employed for over twenty-five years. Deanna retired from Harris Construction in Peterbrough, NH.

Deanna stayed home to take care of her aging parents and following the death of her father, she and her mother moved to White River Jct., to live with her sister, Beverly Soule where she has resided ever since.

She was a quiet person and loved playing cribbage at the Bugbee Senior Center.

She is survived by her two sisters, Beverly Soule of White River Jct., VT and Donna Mason of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews.

A family gathering will be held at a later date in Greenfield, NH.
