Sharon, VT- Dawna Nadeau, 58, died, Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.
Dawna was born February 27, 1964, in Lebanon, NH a daughter of Real and Wendalene (Olmstead) Fournier. She grew up in Hartford Village and graduated from Hartford High School Class of 1982, where she was active in the concert and marching bands. She married Peter Nadeau June 3, 1989, in White River Junction and they made a home in Sharon where they raised their sons. Dawna has worked as an accounting specialist for the Town of Hartford for twenty years, only leaving recently due to her illness.
Dawna enjoyed camping with her family and was an accomplished bowler. Her greatest joy came from being with her children and grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her father Real Fournier and father-in-law Gerard Nadeau.
Dawna is survived by her husband of over thirty years, Peter, of Sharon; two sons Trever Nadeau, and his fiancé Justina, of Middlebury, VT and Troy Nadeau, and his wife Alison, of Sharon; granddaughter Paisley; twin grandsons Liam and Levi; mother, Wendy Fournier of Hartford, VT; sisters, Rhonda Mabey, and husband Tom, of Hartford, VT and Raelyn Bergeron of Quechee, VT; mother-in-law, Janice (Withington) Nadeau of Quechee; sister in law Linda Temple and husband Patrick of North Hartland; numerous cousins; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5-7PM on Monday, April 10th, 2023 at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., VT. Condolences may be expressed to Dawna's family in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhomes.com .
