Obituary
White River Jct., VT – David G. Longchamps, 59, died Monday January 10th at home in White River Jct. in the company of his family.
He was born November 14, 1951 in Manchester, NH a son of Gerard and Rena (McGill) Longchamps. David graduated from high school in Littleton, NH and spent most of his adult life in Burke and Lyndonville VT. For the last two years, David has lived in White River Jct., working at the Valley News in West Lebanon and attending Lebanon College where he recently received his degree in Medical Billing & Coding.
David loved nature and being in the outdoors; especially hiking, fishing and kayaking. He was an amazing guitar player and also loved chess and Scrabble.
He is predeceased by his parents and older sister and leaves a daughter Kendra Longchamps and her husband Doug Wetzel of Atlanta, GA; a son Matthew Longchamps of Evanston, IL and two brothers Chuck Longchamps of Burke, VT and Russ Longchamps of Farmington, NH.
A memorial is planned for late spring in Burke, VT.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lebanon College at 15 Hanover Street, Lebanon New Hampshire, 03766. Please write "in Memory of David Longchamps" in the memo.
