IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David W.
Langlois
October 6, 1944 – October 25, 2025
White River Junction, VT — David W. Langlois, 81, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
David was born on October 6, 1944, in Lebanon, NH, to Jesse and Grace (McCabe) Langlois. He grew up in Wilder, VT, and graduated from Hartford High School in 1962. That same year, he married Linda Spaulding, beginning 49 years of loving marriage. Together, they made their home in Wilder and later in White River Junction, where they raised their daughters.
David dedicated twenty-three years to Dartmouth Printing Company in Hanover before co-founding K & L Color Graphics in White River Junction with Warren and Robert Kewer, operating the business until his retirement in 2009.
A devoted member of the Greater Hartford United Church of Christ, David served as treasurer and deacon, helped at church suppers, and contributed wherever needed—faithfully shoveling the church steps each winter until 2023.
David's love for maple sugaring began with boiling sap over an open fire and grew into building his own sugarhouse and evaporator arch, now used by his granddaughter's family. Sharing his homemade syrup with family and friends brought him great joy. He also enjoyed road trips on his Harley, hunting, fishing, and camping with his family, creating cherished memories.
David is survived by his daughters, Kathy Lowell (Charles) of Sharon, VT, and Tammy Langlois of Wilder, VT; his grandchildren, Tara Symancyk (Anthony) of Hartland, VT; Stacey LeBlanc (Nicholas) of Barrington, RI; Katelyn Lowell (Robert) of Windsor, VT; and Ashley Murphy of Wilder, VT; four great-grandchildren; his brother, Lawrence Langlois of Hartford, VT; and his treasured partner of thirteen years, Diana Olsen Samuels of Orford, NH.
He was predeceased by his wife, Linda Langlois; granddaughter, Amanda Murphy; and three brothers, Robert Langlois, Richard Langlois, and Albert Langlois.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, November 7, 2025, from 4–6 p.m. at Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction. A graveside service will follow on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Hartford Cemetery.
