Windsor, VT- Darlene L. Young, 57, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her home.

Darlene was born October 20, 1965, in Windsor, VT a daughter of Richard and Bernadette (Robideau) Young. She grew up in Windsor and attended the Windsor Schools. Darlene was a hard worker and worked in manufacturing at several area institutions including: Split Ball, Mack Molding, Blue Anchor, and was actively employed at Hypertherm.

Darlene enjoyed working with her hands coloring and doing puzzles. She was a New England Patriots fan and got a charge out of watching them play. Darlene was known to curl up and quietly enjoy a good thunderstorm, she was fond of flowers and had a soft spot in her heart for animals. Darlene was a truck enthusiast, especially the Dodge RAM series. She collected coins and many unique trinkets.  Her greatest joy came from the endless hours spent with her children and grandchildren; she was looking forward to becoming a great-grandmother to two great-grandsons this year.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Maureen Young.

Darlene is survived by four children, Cassandra Flood of Claremont, NH, Stephanie Rogers of Windsor, Christopher Rogers of Claremont, and Leslie Rogers of Springfield, VT; several grandchildren; five siblings Robin Kimball of Goshen, NH, Susan Snide of Claremont, Richard Young, Jr, Lance Young both of Windsor, and Bruce Young of Claremont.
