Newport, VT - Danielle Arlene Moye, 42 died Monday March 18, 2024 at Kingdom Way Group Home in Newport, VT.

She was born March 2, 1982 in Claremont, NH, the daughter of Dennis Moye and Dianne Burdette.  She had a seizure disorder that robbed her of a normal life. Nonetheless, she lived well and had many special caregivers and professional services including Kingdom Way, Lincoln Street, Inc. and HCRS.  She had two special medical guardians, Jan Sherman, and Bethany Perry.  She loved her Mom and family, loved therapeutic horseback riding, crafting via Zoom during COVID, swinging, dancing, music, but coloring was "not my favorite thing."  She enjoyed shrimp, root beer floats, peanut butter cups...and cookies. Danielle's family is very grateful for the support and guidance they have received throughout the years.  She lived with and received wonderful care for 10 years with her special friend Theresa Parker of Cavendish, VT.

Danielle is survived by her Mom Dianne Goodspeed (Ed) of Wilder, VT, her "Aunt Robbie" Robin Burdette, Quechee, VT, sister Melissa Gokey (Bruce) of Wilder, VT and sister Pamela LaVanway (Shawn) of South Royalton, VT, and many cousins.

Calling hours will be held at Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction, VT on Sunday, March 24th from 2-4 pm.  A celebration of life for Danielle will be arranged at a later date.
