Springfield, VT Dale Sidler, 49, died Sunday July 3, 2011 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after a short illness.
Dale was born September 28, 1961 in Lebanon, NH the son of Howard and June (Macomber) Sidler. He grew up in Wilder where he attended school and graduated from Hartford High School. He continued to live in Wilder until his father's death in 2001 when he moved to Post Mills with his Brother Brian for a time. They moved to Springfield, where he has lived since. Dale was a hard worker and was employed for several years at Brady & Callahan Attorney's Office in Springfield as a file clerk.
Dale was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Springfield United Church of Christ. He was an avid reader and writer and he loved to work on puzzles. Dale followed all of the Boston sports teams but was a particularly passionate Red Sox fan. Dale's greatest joy was his family, and he especially loved being with his two nephews Ben and Harrison and his niece Mackenzie.

He is survived by a brother Brian Sidler of Springfield and two sisters Penny Abair of West Lebanon, NH and Robin Sidler of Newbury, VT.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday July 7th from 6-8PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction, VT. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30AM at the funeral Home.
