Obituary

South Royalton, VT- Corinne Lovering, 80, died Sunday, November 6, 2016.

Corinne was born on April 8, 1936 in Tewksbury, MA the daughter of Wally and Margery Supernaw. She graduated fron Warren High School in Warren, MA and later attended Monty Technical College and Fitchburg Teacher College both in Fitchburg, MA.. She was married in 1974 to Clarence Lovering until his death in 1976. Corinne worked as a private duty nurse in Allenstown, Concord and South East New Hampshire. She also worked in Emergency Services in the same area retiring in 1994. She moved to the Upper Valley in 1989.

Corrine was a full blooded Abinaki, and very proud of her Native American heritage. She was a very spiritual person and was ordained in 1998 as a minister of spiritualism. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary in Allenstown, NH. As a stained glass artist she enjoyed working in the medium, and was accomplished in Native American crafts. Corrine loved to play with her parrot. She had a big heart and would rehabilitate sick and injured animals.

She is predeceased by a son Robert Leneau AKA Bomond Davis-Edwards.

Corinne is survived by a daughter Cathy Mae Rose of Webster, MA, her husband Spencer Stremleau of South Royalton; a step-son Mark Lovering of White River Junction ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a sister Beth Day of Ocala, FL; three brothers James Davis, Frankie Davis and Norman Davis all of Massachusetts.
