Colleen Agnes Nalette Crumpton (Benson) passed away on November 10, 2022 at the age of 70.

She grew up in the Upper Valley, graduating from Hartford High School in 1970. Colleen received her LPN nursing degree from Fanny Allen School of Nursing. She worked in the dialysis unit of Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington, VT for 30 years. She continued nursing in Oregon before moving back to Vermont.

Colleen was best known for her sense of humor, big heart and carefree spirit. She touched the lives of many and will live on in our fond memories of her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Marion Nalette; brothers, Leonard and Joseph "Ernie" Nalette; daughter, Kelly Whitford (Casper).

She is survived by her husband, Richard Benson; siblings, Gloria, Lauri (Steve), and Peter Nalette (Nancy); children, Hanna Howard (Gary), Emily Howard (Kyle), Amanda Howard (Dennis), Hope Truth (Leroy); grandchildren, foster children, stepchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Calvary Chapel in Townshend, Vermont on Saturday, December 3 at 11am with a reception to follow.
