White River Jct., VT - Colleen S. Davis, 65, died Thursday August 3, 2023, surrounded by her family at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative Care in Lebanon, NH.

She was born December 3, 1957, a daughter of George and Merna (Demary) Snow.  Colleen grew up in Quechee and graduated from Hartford High School Class of 1975.  Shortly after high school she began working in the legal field, first as a secretary and then as a paralegal, working with Jack Candon in Norwich for 35 years. Colleen was married to Fred Davis Jr. on June 18, 1978, and raised her family in White River Jct.  While her children were young, she did in-home daycare so she could remain home with her daughters, returning to the legal field once they were older.

Colleen enjoyed spending time in Vermont's beautiful outdoors, touring the state on the back of a motorcycle with her husband or in more recent years kayaking the lakes and ponds around the state.   She had wonderful talent in creating, including arts and crafts and photography and especially enjoyed taking wildlife photos.

Most of all Colleen enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren.  She also loved having her dog Bella and cat Lola by her side.

She was predeceased by her parents, George Snow and Merna Sprague, brothers Donald and Bruce Snow.

Colleen leaves her husband of 45 years, Fred, of White River Jct.; daughters Danielle Martin (Timothy) of White River Jct. and Caitlin Davis (Daniel Buccellato) of Canaan, NH; grandchildren Riley and Aliza Martin, Tyler Osgood and Laylah Matthews; brother David Snow (Linda) of White River Jct., Mark Snow of Claremont, mother-in-law Betty Davis of Sharon and several brothers and sisters in law and nieces and nephews.

A private service for family and close friends will be held at the convenience of her family followed by committal in the Hartford Cemetery.
