West Lebanon, NH - Claire L. Palardy, 83 died Friday afternoon, April 5, 2013 at her home at Quail Hollow in West Lebanon, NH. She was born December 14, 1929 in Johnson, VT the daughter of Honorius and Annette (LePage) Fournier. Claire attended school in Johnson, VT and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Newport, VT in 1947. She moved to Woonsocket, RI, working there for a few years and then later at Hodgeman Rubber Company in Framingham, MA.
On August 3, 1957, Claire married Ambrose Palardy in Woonsocket, RI where they lived until moving to Windsor, VT in 1967. After forty years in Windsor, VT, they moved to Quail Hollow in West Lebanon in 2007 and was a member of St., Anthony's Church, in White River Jct., VT
She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Catherine Anderson of West Lebanon, NH, Jane Rhoades of Universal City, TX and Nancy Palardy of Wilder, VT, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Anita Nadeau of Johnson, VT, and Sister Marcelline Fournier of Littleton, NH, four brothers, Roger Fournier who was killed in Frances, during WWII after the Battle of the Bulge and Denis, Rock and Eugene, all from Woonsocket, RI.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning, April 9, at 11AM at St. Anthony's Church in White River Jct., VT. Rev. Thomas Mosher, Pastor will be the Celebrant. Private committal service will be held later in the Christian Street Cemetery in White River Jct., VT.
