Christopher Scott Moye, 59, died Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in White River Jct., VT.

He was born January 31, 1963, in Lebanon, NH a son of Robert Moye and Shyrl Boyce Moye. After his graduation from Hartford High School, Chris served in the US Navy for four years including the Invasion of Grenada in 1983. Following his honorable discharge from the Navy, he worked as a cook at Dartmouth College and several area restaurants, including CJ's in White River Jct. Chris was known affectionately by many of his friends as 'Elvis'.

He is survived by his mother, Shyrl Rafus and stepfather, David of West Lebanon; son, Crory; sister, Debra Wagar, and her husband, Preston of White River Jct., a brother, Brian Moye of Wilder; nephews, Dylan and Charlie; nieces, Jessica, Kaleigh and Stefani and great nephews, Brayden and Matthew.

Chris was predeceased by his father in 2003 and a brother Michael Moye in 2018.

A graveside service will be held in the Branchview Cemetery in South Royalton at 2PM on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
